Celebrating #20yearsofsparks

I can't believe it was 20 years ago that my first novel, The Notebook, was published and I'm excited to share with you that later this year, my 20th novel will go on sale with more details to be revealed about it in the coming months.

You may soon notice that the digital editions of my books have new covers and I'm excited to tell you that, as part of a 20 year celebration, all of my previous novels will be gradually be getting new covers this year. Be on the look out online - and eventually in stores too - to see these beautiful new looks for my bestselling novels.

In addition to the new covers, Amazon.com will be celebrating this milestone by featuring a number of my bestselling books as Kindle Daily Deals throughout 2016. My hope is that that special discounts will offer an opportunity for my long time print readers to build up their digital libraries at a affordable price.

Last, if you have the chance, please let me know what you think of the new covers by posting to Facebook, Twitter and Instagram with #20YEARSOFSPARKS.

I hope to hear from you soon!

The Choice is now in theaters!

The feature film adaptation of my best selling novel The Choice is now showing in theaters nationwide and the movie's cast, crew and I can't wait for you to see it on the big screen. Directed by the very talented Ross Katz, it stars Benjamin Walker and Teresa Palmer as Travis and Gabby who make some pretty unexpected choices, big and small, that define their lives.

Making this film brought me back to my roots here in North Carolina and I love that Ross treated Wilmington as more than just a backdrop. He made it come alive, almost like a third main character. He was also great with actors. In his hands, it’s immediately obvious why Gabby will risk everything for Travis and at the same time you can see why Travis can’t pull himself away from her.

The Choice may remind you of my very first novel, The Notebook, where a couple comes together and we watch their lives unfold. We see what eventually happens between them and the choices they make. Watching, it seems like the title refers to a choice that occurs early on, but there are plenty of twists and turns that make the story even more memorable, more profound, and I can’t wait to hear what you think about it.

Lastly, I want to extend my gratitude to all of my readers. It’s you and your enthusiasm that make it possible for these stories to come to life on film. And for that I am truly grateful.

Yours,
