Completely heart wrenching
Posted on 2008-08-02 12:19:49 by Kyle
Oddly enough as most people think, yes i am a guy reading you're amazing love stories and, honestly enough, reacting as if i were a little girl. I recently read "Dear John" and was completely thrown off my feet at how much this novel touched me. I mean it; you're writing is so remarkable. And like most other people have already stated here they were up till the early hours of the morning intwined in you re stories, i was too. "Dear John" needs a sequel.

Aspiring Writer

I was born and raised in Raleigh, NC. In your books when you speak about places such as Beaufort, Rodanthe, New Bern, Edenton and Wilmington, NC it brings back such wonderful childhood memories. I love NC and your words in your novels just make me love it just that much more. I like that your novels are realistic,in each of them I can relate. I have learn much about myself through your novels and I along with my friends from our Nicholas Sparks Book Club are looking forward to meeting you at the book signing in October!

Three Weeks With My Brother
Posted on 2008-08-05 15:13:39 by Anne
I am still emotionally rebounding from reading your book
Three Weeks With My Brother, which I finished late last night.
I always love when I discover a book that I am unable to put down, and this makes the top of my list. I am raising three boys as a single mom, and I wish I had your mother’s patience and wisdom. I cried when I read how your mother would put you to bed each night and ask each of you to share three kind things your siblings did for you that day.
Once we are adults, it is so easy to forget how we viewed things
as a child and remember that life can still be fun. Your book
reminded me to enjoy life today and to not postpone my dreams, because
someday may never come and it could all just slip away. Thank you.

Thank you

Dear Mr. Sparks,
Thank you so much for sharing your incredible writing talents through your many novels. I have read eight of your books so far, and I can't wait to read the rest!
As an elementary educator, I am constantly striving to instill a love for reading in my classroom. I always share how much I love your work, and I tell my students how quickly I can read your books since the storylines are so gripping! Thank you for giving me an opportunity to love reading.:) Your books are the best I have ever read, and I appreciate your creativity and outstanding talents! Please keep writing many more novels! I can't wait to read them!

I just wanted to say how wonderful your novels are. I recently told a friend that the best way to spend a raining day is to take a Nicholas Sparks book and a box of tissues to bed and escape from the world outside. I look forward to future novels. Please keep them coming.

perfection
Posted on 2008-08-04 07:57:38 by
Hey,
Just felt the need to type what you have probably read a million times over, that each and every one of your books is utter perfection. 3 weeks with my brother literally changed me, it made me look at my life and see how lucky i am for having what i do. It taught me to appreciate what i have and act more thankful for the chances and experiences i have had and will have.

It physically pains me though that you can't come down to Australia for a book signing though. Because meeting you would be everything and more!!!

Also my little sister has just finished reading 3 weeks with my brother and we both cried so hard it turned into sobbing when we read you taught ur son to say "i love you" to his mum! soo beautiful.

Thankyou so much for your books.

True Believer
Posted on 2008-08-01 10:45:41 by Jordan
Hi Nicholas,
Let me just say that I am a huge fan of your books!!! But honestly I hated reading until I decided to read A WALK TO REMEMBER just because I LOVED the movie, and ever since then I have been hooked. The main reason I am writing is because recently I stumbled across on IMDB where TRUE BELIEVER is listed to come out in 2008 as a movie, but that is the only information it gave me and I was hoping that it was your TRUE BELIEVER. If not I think it would make a wonderful movie so maybe you could consider it.

Track Team

I have always been a fan of your books but after reading the article about what you have done for the kids in your community and the track team I sit here with tears in my eyes. If only all coaches understood the impact they have on our childrens lives.

Thank you for what you are doing and God Bless

The Notebook
Posted on 2008-08-01 17:30:09 by Shanna Taylor
I stumbled across your books in the bookstore one day and then realized you were the creator of one of the best love stories....The Notebook. I didn't by anything until I checked out your website, I bought and read Dear John in 2 1/2 days. Wanting to read The Wedding I would not do it until I had read The Notebook, so I bought and read it in two days. It was the sweetest story and you created the dreamiest man in Noah Calhoun. I just wish that I new more about Noah and Allie and their life together and all the bumps in the road that made them cling to each other before she got sick. I look forward to reading each of your books but I am sure The Notebook will always be my favorite.

Nicholas,
I LOVE your books!!! I can't wait until the newest one comes out because I always buy it, even if it's full price. I just have to read it right away. They are always so good, even if the ending doesn't turn out the way I want it to. Please keep writing and I promise I will buy all of your books each time a new one comes out! I already have all of them and have read all of them. I know you have a busy life with your family but I wish there was more than one book a year because I finish reading your books in less than a week. Keep up the excellent work and talent that you have.
Thank you!

Amazing author!!
Posted on 2008-08-01 21:44:01 by Misty
The first book I read was A Walk to Remember, I was hooked! I have read 8 of your books and usually when I begin reading one of your books I cant put it down and will read way into the night. Your books are captivating and when reading them I feel as if I am right there with each character, in the same places that you describe. My oldest daughter(16) now reads your books as well and her favorite is The Notebook. We are hooked and get extremely excited when we know you have new books coming out- We love the movies as well. You are truly an amazing author and we look forward to much more!

~Dear John~

I was going on vacation to NC and I needed a book for the flight, so I decided to read Dear John since I have friends in the military. After the first chapter I was hooked. I didn't want the book to end. It was just wonderful!

Thanks for your books!

Hi Mr. Sparks.
I have always been a bookworm so when a teacher offered to loan me The Notebook when I was 14 years old I took it without question. I read it before school the next morning cause I could not put it down!! I have spent the last 12 years anxiously awaiting your lastest book to hit the shelves and own every single one of them. They have just become a part of me and couldn't even imagine a time when there isn't a new Nicholas Sparks book to come out. I just wanted to let you know how much your books have meant to me and how they have been my example for the kind of love I wanted to find. (I found him and we're getting married next fall!)

Men

I have read many of your novels and as i was browsing your website i came upon the wall of posted comments... it was covered with post from women but i just wanted to state that men can also enjoy your novels. I am sure that most of your readers are women but to all the men that can admit to being a hopeless romantic... your novels are a definite must read.

Thank you

Mr. Nichloas Sparks,
I wanted to thank you so very much for what you have done. Your writings have influenced me to also start writing. I started really writing after i read the notebook. I have read all your books and found myself lost it their pages. I have not found love like you write about but i still find a connection in your books. I will be attending college soon on a writing scholarship and i owe you for that one. I look forward to your books everytime i finish the last one. Thank you for unknowingly giving me hope for a brilliant future.
Sincerely,
Courtney

The Choice

I just read "The Choice" and Loved it! Of course. I was relieved that it ended happily. I appreciate how some of your stories don't have cookie cutter endings though. But I really wanted this one to end the way it did. I wish I could tell you my favorite, but I could never pick. I think that about 90% of your books have made me cry, and I don't cry easily. I hope you keep writing for a LONG time. You are my favorite!

I'M THE "LUCKY ONE"!!!
