Mr. Sparks,
I truly love your novel, "The Notebook." It has inspired me to write a story of my own. I do have a question though. My question is, do you also work with the actors and actresses that play in the movie? [The Notebook] If so, how is that experience?

Hello Mr Sparks,
I'm from Brunei. I started reading your books two years ago.
A Walk To Remember was the first book which I read (after watching the film - the book is far better) and it is my favourite. I have most of your books, and each had made me cry.
I finished reading The Choice two days ago. Now I'm starting on Three Weeks With My Brother.
You're a brilliant writer. I love your style of writing. Please keep writing, and I'll keep reading :)

| Just wanted to get my vote in for the "rest of the story"! This is a story that will never be over-done!! There seem to be a lot of avenues that can be followed in a very realistic story line that alot of people unfortunately/fortunately face today. Beginning with the cancer battle and continuing with the yearning in most to have that true love/soul-mate "prayer" answered. Almost everyone faces both tragedy and reward in life and this story could be just that???? I respect your decision because I am such an avid fan. You have not disappointed this reader yet! And I've read them all! Given that I look forward to Choices, the future movies, and whatever you decide is the next "best read"!

| After reading mostly all your books I was reluctant to read Three Weeks with My Brother since it was a non-fiction. I'm so glad that I did. It has so much insite to who you are as an author. Reading this book has made me see how you have come about your novels. There were so many parts that made me cry. Thank you for being such a great author. I'm waiting with excitment for the Nights movie to come out as well as your new book.

Mr. Sparks,
I cannot tell you how much I adore your talent in all the beautiful pieces you've written so far. I am truly blessed when I read your books. I see many have chosen a favorite, but my personal feeling is that if you admirer an author as much as I do your work, it is nearly impossible to pick a favorite because each story is different and you tell them so well. I did want to share, however how much I appreciate your honesty in your character's words and choices. I really respect your ability to write in such a heart-felt way that reaches a fantastic amount of audience members waiting to read more of your work.
Abundant Blessings to you and your family. Thank you for your inspiration.

| I have loved the movies based on your books, but had never actually read one of your books. My husband and I were stuck in the airport for 4 hours on Friday and I saw Dear John available in the airport gift shop. I decided I finally was going to read one of your books. I am so glad I did! I actually finished it today, two days later! It seriously made my heart ache that John and Savannah could not be together! After reading some of the other posts on the message board, I agree, you just have to find a way for them to be together! John's all alone and they need each other! Happy writing! Thank you for such great works - I'll have to go get another one of your books tomorrow!

| I've read most of your books, plant to read them all, just finished your "Three Weeks with My Brother"--loved it, and I saw where a lot of your stories came from and realized why they are so real--they were based on people in your life. Why so much death and sorrow in your family's life? Maybe so you could tell the wonderful stories you've told and help others, besides becoming everyone's favorite author. I really enjoy the stories being set in eastern North Carolina. I lived there years ago in my first marriage. In fact, I think I may have moved away from New Bern about a year or two before you moved there! I can't wait to read your latest book. I work in a library and I recommended it today when I found out it's been published. Thanks so much for the way you write, and God bless you!

Dear Mr Sparks
I have just finished your book Dear John and I absolutely loved it. I am a full time student and for the summer I picked it up to have something to read for pleasure and burned right through it in two days. This book touched me so much, because I met a military guy also named jon that I feel madly in love with in just a short time and right now the distance between us just like your two characters, unbareable. It has made me want to hang on even tighter to him. I sit here with a sinking feeling in my stomach from the outcome and hope that maybe a sequel will come about with a future for the two. Thank you for a such a wondeful story!

Dear Mr. Sparks:
I was looking for some summer reading and I haven't read any of your new books. The last one I read was the Notebook and it was before it came out on the big screen. All of your books seem to make me cry, but they also make me realize that the love I share with my significant other is very valuable and a treasure. Thank you for reminding me what love is all about. The book that I've recently read was Dear John and it was so touching. Nothing at all what I expected. I thought for sure the end would have been different, but I'm glad it wasn't. I couldn't put it down I read it in 3 days. It didn't seem to take long to finish at all. It's been a long time since I've read a book that does that to me. I was excited to find out what happens next. Keep writing you truly have a gift. And thanks again.

Let's just say I've read 6 of them in the last 2 weeks and plan on buying each and every one of them! The Choice was by far my favorite! Do you don't plan on retiring anytime soon, do you? I sure hope not! :)

| My mom gave me The Notebook and I read it in one night. I also saw the movie and loved it. I was in Bj's the other day saw your name on Dear John so I got it and it was the best book I've ever read. I just finished True Believer and loved it as well, then showed it to my dad not because I thought he would want to read it, but because his name is Jeremy. I just thought it was kinda funny but he picked it up and read it and loved it too. I just started At First Sight and can't wait. Thanks for being such a great inspiration.

| My name is Nikki and I am 19 years old. I LOVE to read. In such a hectic world it always nice to have an escape that lets you forget about everyday stresses and the horrible things that happen. I have been a big reader since I was little, but I can honestly that after every book I have ever read, you are my favorite author. I have read sooo many of your books, and they have a way of mezmorizing me. Every book is well-written and well-structured, and I have spent many nights reading until the morning for the sole reason that I can't put the book down! In closing, I would just like you to know that you are very talented and thank you for your stories. I hope there are more to come!

| I guess that you can say I am a romantic! Well lets face it, I am a hopeless romantic!!! All of my friends think that I live in an unrealistic fairytale. I believe whole heartedly that each of us has a soulmate and it is only a matter of time before we discover it. I have been a huge fan of your books since I was in the sixth grade and it only heightened as time went on. Thank you for reminding the world that love is timeless. I look forward to all of your upcoming books and major motion pictures inspired by your books. Also, I gotta say that it is really refreashing to see a man write on love for so many years!!! Let the men all over the world know that we girls admire a man with a soft spot!

| This book was so amazing. I am about to read the choice and i keep hearing that it's even better than the guardian. I am also looking forward to seeing night in rodanthe. Please please consider making the guardian into a movie. If they made it to be exactly like the book, I'm sure it would be incredible!! You're by far my favorite author.
